MISSION: To educate and support individuals involved in the development and fund raising activities of the nonprofit organizations of the Inland Northwest.

Core Values: INDC membership is open to any individual, institution or organization which subscribes to, and abides by, the professional principles of ethics accepted by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), and other publicly recognized organizations involved in the development and support of non profit organizations.

about us

The Inland Northwest Development Council evolved out of prior Spokane organizations that were focused on connecting grant-makers and grant-seekers, as well as providing professional development for grant-seekers and development professionals. In July of 1993 a Charter was drawn up for the Inland Northwest Development Council “to provide a structure for networking and learning.” The Inland Northwest Development Council or INDC did not incorporate or seek 501(C)(4) status until 2017, as their intent was to keep the group informal.

Programs

INDC provides programs that give fundraisers and development professionals throughout the Inland Northwest a chance to learn and be inspired. With that in mind, each year INDC offers a series of programs that deal with a variety of topics and offer our members and guests the opportunity for education, support and connection with their development peers.

Regular INDC programs (11:30 AM to 1:00 PM) are on the 3rd Thursday of January, March, May, September and November, with occasional bonus programs held in June.

In addition to our regular programs, we hold Connect Tours of our member organizations for additional educational opportunities and networking. These are typically on the 3rd Thursday of October, December, February, and April. These tours are open to all wanting to learn about community partners. You do not need a membership to attend.

Membership

Become a member of INDC

INDC is a local resource for your fundraising and non-profit activities. We provide regular programs and networking.

Members receive five programs that include lunch and at least connect tour opportunities. Your membership includes attendance at any of our programs and tour meetings, and you have the ability to send an alternate (staff or board member) in your absence. Additional guests at programs are $25 per person. Members are privy to job postings, volunteer opportunities, additional resources, message board communications, and so much more.

fees & Payment INFORMATION

Full Year Membership - $100.00

Membership dues will be prorated as follows:

  • Join in June, July, August, or September for the full year: $100.00

  • Join in October or November: $80.00

  • Join in December or January: $60.00

  • Join in February or March: $40.00

  • Join in April or May: $20.00

Executive Committee Membership - 50% off

  • $50.00 for an individual membership

  • $100.00 for organization membership that includes the executive committee member and an additional employee

Program Guest Fee - $25.00 per person
